Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has marked Father’s Day with a strong message of confidence and self-defense while addressing criticism surrounding his personal life.

In a lengthy post shared on his Instagram page, the actor celebrated himself as a father and claimed that attempts by people to bring him down through accusations over the past four years have failed.

Yul stated that the latest criticism against him involves claims that he took another man’s wife, referring to the controversy surrounding his relationship with Judy Austin and her former husband, Obasi.

According to the actor, Obasi had moved on years earlier, and he accused those behind the allegations of creating a coordinated effort to damage his image.

“My aura gives my enemies sleepless nights. In the last 4 years, they’ve told all sorts of lies against me, and they all failed,” Yul wrote.

He described himself as strong and unstoppable, crediting his continued success and support from fans to what he called “God’s grace.”

The actor also used the opportunity to wish fathers around the world a happy Father’s Day, praying for strength and blessings for them.

The post comes shortly after Yul released a statement on X denying claims that he was preventing Obasi from having access to his children with Judy.

Reacting to the statement, Obasi said that if Yul is truly the head of the home, he should help resolve the situation between him and his children. He alleged that he had made efforts to communicate but was ignored, adding that Judy had blocked his channels of communication.
