Nancy Isime Speaks on Money and Marriage, Says Love Alone Cannot Guarantee a Comfortable Life

Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has shared her thoughts on the importance of financial stability in relationships and marriage, stating that love alone may not be enough to create the kind of life many couples desire.

The actress, speaking during a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, explained that she does not believe marrying a financially struggling partner automatically leads to happiness or a fulfilling marriage.

“Marriage is not a poverty alleviation scheme but I don’t believe marrying a poor man can make you happy.

“When rent is due, school fees can’t be paid and there is no food in the house, it is difficult to have a fantastic life.

“I am not saying there is no love without money. But love and fantastic life are not the same,” she said.

The actress encouraged intending couples to achieve a level of financial readiness before marriage and starting a family, stressing that planning and stability are important parts of building a successful home.
