Biodun Okeowo Celebrates Second Wedding Anniversary, Reflects on Love and Marriage Journey

Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo is celebrating two years of marriage with her husband, as she reflects on love, commitment and the lessons their union has brought.

The actress shared beautiful throwback photos from their wedding ceremony on Instagram, revealing that her heart is filled with gratitude as she marks the milestone.

Biodun said marriage has taught her that love goes beyond grand gestures, explaining that true love is found in daily acts of care, forgiveness, support and choosing to stand by each other through different seasons.

She described her husband as her peace, strength and one of God’s greatest blessings, while appreciating him for accepting her despite her personality and imperfections.

“Two years ago, I said yes to forever. Today, my heart is full of gratitude to God Almighty,” she wrote, adding that she would still choose him if given the chance to start over.

The actress and her husband got engaged in March 2024 before their traditional wedding in July of the same year. They later completed their legal wedding in December 2024.

Biodun had previously opened up about her journey to finding love, revealing how being a single mother came with judgment from some people and how she once gave up on the dream of having a wedding.
