The EFCC Has Arrested A Suspended City Boy Movement Leader

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested Halimat Tejuosho, the suspended woman leader of the City Boy Movement, the pro-Tinubu group closely associated with the President's son, Seyi Tinubu. She has not been charged in any report seen by this site, and an arrest is not a finding of wrongdoing.
Why the affiliation matters
The EFCC is routinely accused of acting mainly against the government's opponents, and the accusation has grown louder as 2027 approaches. An arrest of somebody inside the President's own support network cuts against that charge, whatever the details of this case turn out to be.
