Galatasaray Target €40m-Rated Nicolo Tresoldi Amid Uncertainty Over Osimhen Future
Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have reportedly identified Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi as a potential attacking option as they prepare for the new season.
According to reports from Turkey, including Alanya Postası, the Yellow-Reds are monitoring the highly rated forward, with Club Brugge said to value the dual-national striker at around €40 million.
The interest comes amid uncertainty surrounding Victor Osimhen’s future at Galatasaray. Although club president Dursun Özbek and manager Okan Buruk have insisted that the Nigerian striker is not for sale despite reported interest from European giants such as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Chelsea, the club is believed to be assessing possible alternatives.
Osimhen’s decision to withdraw from Nigeria’s June international fixtures against Poland and Portugal has also added further speculation about his situation, although no official decision regarding his future has been made.
Tresoldi has emerged as one of Europe’s promising young forwards after an impressive campaign with Club Brugge. The striker featured in 58 official matches during the 2025/26 season, producing 23 goals and nine assists — numbers that have attracted attention from several top clubs.
Born in Cagliari, Tresoldi is eligible to represent both Germany and Italy internationally. He is currently provisionally tied to Germany after featuring competitively for their U19 and U21 teams.
For Galatasaray, signing Tresoldi would represent a move towards securing a long-term attacking solution, especially if Osimhen’s future remains uncertain. However, convincing Club Brugge to sell their prized forward will not be easy, especially with a €40 million valuation attached.
The situation highlights Galatasaray’s growing ambition in the European market — balancing the desire to keep established stars while also targeting emerging talents who could become future leaders of the squad.
