Nollywood Actor Alexx Ekubo Laid to Rest in Abia Amid Tears and Emotional Tributes

Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has been laid to rest in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State, as family members, friends and colleagues gathered to bid farewell to the popular entertainer.

The actor’s funeral activities began on Wednesday with a wake-keeping ceremony held in Ujari Village, Arochukwu. The following day, a funeral service was held at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village before his remains were taken for the final interment at his family compound.

The burial ceremony was marked by grief and emotional tributes as colleagues and loved ones remembered Ekubo not only for his contributions to Nollywood but also for his kindness and humanitarian efforts.

Ekubo, who featured in several Nigerian films and built a reputation as one of the industry’s recognizable faces, was also known for his philanthropic activities and support for people around him.
