Real Madrid Open Disciplinary Proceedings After Valverde-Tchouameni Training Ground Clash

Real Madrid Open Disciplinary Proceedings After Valverde-Tchouameni Training Ground Clash

Real Madrid have officially confirmed that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni following their reported training-ground confrontation.

The development comes after reports emerged that Valverde was taken to hospital after a “very serious” clash with Tchouameni during Thursday’s training session.

The incident reportedly forced head coach Alvaro Arbeloa to hold an emergency meeting with the squad amid growing concerns over unrest inside the dressing room.

In an official statement released on Thursday night, Real Madrid said:

“Real Madrid announce that, following the events that took place this morning, the club has decided to open disciplinary proceedings against our players, Fede Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

“The club will announce the outcome of both cases in due course, once the corresponding internal procedures have been completed.”

The latest controversy follows another recent training-ground incident involving Antonio Rudiger, who reportedly apologized after slapping teammate Alvaro Carreras during a heated exchange.

Opinion: Real Madrid’s Biggest Opponent May Now Be Internal Chaos

For a club built on prestige and elite mentality, Real Madrid are beginning to show worrying signs of internal instability.

Training-ground arguments are not uncommon in football, especially in high-pressure environments where emotions run high. But when incidents escalate to hospital visits and official disciplinary action, it moves beyond ordinary competitiveness.

The fact that Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni are both central figures in Madrid’s midfield makes the situation even more concerning. These are players expected to lead the club into its next era.

What makes matters worse is the growing pattern. With previous reports involving Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Carreras, the issue no longer looks isolated—it suggests a dressing room struggling under pressure and frustration.

For Alvaro Arbeloa, restoring unity could now be just as important as winning matches.

Because history has shown that even the most talented squads can collapse when internal conflicts begin overshadowing collective purpose.
